Jago Lawless - Technical Manager
Having originally left school to continue his successes at playing rugby, Jago returned to University in Southampton to study Naval Architecture and Yacht Design. Sailing remained his second favourite sport so it stood a perfect fit.
Since graduating as a naval architect Jago has led a number of design teams finding innovative solutions to challenging design requirements. These have been extremely wide ranging including managing the detailed design of the world’s largest sailing catamaran, a 75m motor yacht, the design of largest high-speed catamaran ferry designed in Europe to multiple small commercial ferries and work boats. Jago has stayed in the company for many years and he thrives on the diversity of work and being constantly challenged.
Jago believes that the best work is always achieved by a team of people that flourish in their work and being at the leading edge of these challenging design projects enables us all to achieve this. He has a relentless work ethic and is not pleased until the job is done and done well!
Having hung up the Rugby boots some time ago, Jago keeps fit cycling, swimming. Jago owns a boat and loves racing and cruising round the Solent with his family and friends.
